Open Morning at Ascension Kenton

You may have seen the recent article in The Chronicle that describes how Newcastle's Food Bank is running low of supplies. In addition to having a permanent collection in church, next Saturday 1st July from 11am to 1pm, we will have an open morning when any donations can be dropped off.

There will also be an opportunity meet our new Parish Priest, Angela and learn about some of the many clubs and activities we have on throughout the week, and have a cup of tea and coffee.

If can you please donate any of the following items:

  • cereal

  • pasta

  • pasta sauce,

  • UHT milk or powdered milk,

  • sugar,

  • fruit juice,

  • tinned tomatoes,

  • tinned vegetables

  • tinned meat and tuna

  • tea bags

  • instant coffee

  • biscuits

  • snack bars

  • tinned rice pudding

  • rice

  • tinned fruit
